A quick oil sketch of the moon over Port San Luis. I went down to the beach that morning in March to take a few shots of the sunrise, but opposite of where the sun was to come up, Mr. Moon was making his exit. It was so fleeting and transitory, gone in minutes. I used an immediate approach to capture this experience.
