Watching the sunlight hit the California coast is always so much fun. The light changes by the second, so you couldn't paint fast enough to capture it under any condition. Looking toward Avila Beach from the parking lot of Pirate's Cave, this sunrise was spectacular. I painted the energy and feeling of the morning.
